My Shopping Finds

I shared in my previous posts that I have been shopping on the first two weekends of the year hehehe. Parang itinodo ko yung hindi ko pagshoshopping the past months ah hahahaha.

Anyway, here are my loots. Some on sale, some bought on regular prizes.

ThCollectionBlouse

↑Bought during last year’s sale at Debenham’s.

HandMDress

↑Basic casual dress from H&M. Bought last year too.

GapJeans

↑Boot cut jeans from Gap for only Php 995!

HandMCardigan

↑Cardigan from H&M. Purple sa tunay na buhay, just to add color to my cabinet.

NoApologiesBlouse2

NoApologiesBlouse1

↑No Apologies blouses for the office. Additional 10% off was applied at the counter. Sheye.

AllStarJoggingPants

↑All Star jogging pants.

OldNavyJoggingPants

↑Old Navy jogging pants naman.

UniqloMiniWaffleCardigan

↑Uniqlo mini waffle cardigan.

UniqloReversibleParka

↑Uniqlo reversible parka. 2 or 3 months kong pinag-isipan kung bibili ba ako nito. E biglang naglabas sila ng ganitong color na sobrang nagustuhan ko. Ayun, bumigay hihihi!

OldNavyRomper

↑Old Navy romper for rampa

OldNavyDress1

OldNavyDress2

↑Old Navy dresses pang date nights char!

RedHerring

↑Red Herring jumper type dress from Debenhams. More than 3 months ko na ata tong binabantayan kung kailan magsasale. Seriously. Nabili ko sya ng discounted but not that much nyahahaha.

DorothyPerkinsDress

↑Office dress from Dorothy Perkins for days na kailangan kong makipagbalitaktakan sa mga bosanians. Matagal ko na rin itong binabantayan. Originally at Php 2,350.00 then sale price was at Php 1,299 na lang. But wait, there’s more. When you pay using BDO debit card, there’s an additional 10% off. So final price was less than Php 1,100.00. Ngiting tagumpay.

UniqloChambrayDress

↑Uniqlo Chambray sleeveless dress. Regular price at Php 990.00. I saw this displayed in Gateway, paired with the jacket above.

Bakit nga ba ako namakyaw ng dresses eh di naman ako madalas magdress? Eh kasi…secret! Hahaha! Joke! One of my goals this year is to be more comfortable in dresses kaya ayan na. I just have to make sure na gagamitin ko talaga ang mga ito hahaha.

And the winner of them all is this.

SperryTopsider

↑I have long wanted to buy a Sperry topsider mainly because of the childhood memories it brings back every time I see a pair. When I was in elementary, most of my shoes are similar to this. Anyway, I was waiting for this to go on sale but it did not happen. When I finally decided to buy it, there were no more sizes available in the malls near my apartment! One time, I dropped by Shoe Salon in Robinson’s Magnolia and scored my size! Bili na agad-agad. And this was where some of my sick leave conversion went hahaha.

And after this shopping spree, tinatanggalan ko na ang sarili ko ng karapatang magshopping in the coming months, unless may ganitong sales uli nyahahaha!

2018 Week 7: Happy Chinese New Year!

February 12-18, 2018

Last Wednesday, February 14 was Ash Wednesday so I attempted to wake up early to attend mass, which I successfully did even with just a few hours of sleep.

I was soooo looking forward to the holiday last Friday. I was planning to leave the office early, which did not happen unfortunately. I was waiting for a ride home when I was startled because of the fireworks. Well, it was already 12AM, that’s why. Happy Chinese New Year!

My friend and I went to Binondo supposedly for some food trip. Unfortunately, there were a lot of people and all the restaurants are full. What were we thinking? Hahahaha! So after dropping by the supermarket that sells cheaper apple cider vinegar, we decided to just leave. On our way towards Binondo church, the parade has already started. We saw Manila Mayor Joseph Estrada and the reigning Mr. and Miss Chinatown. We went towards Quintin Paredes Street where we booked Uber to bring us back to Makati hahahaha. So titas. Suko agad sa crowd.

Calamansi

↑Calamansi in pots! I was amazed, but I was sad because it was expensive hahaha. The small one is Php 1,700.00 while the big one is Php 3,500.00. I’ll just buy a small one then let it grow haha.

Binondo (02-16-2018)

↑I was able to capture the reigning (?) Miss Chinatown but was not able to see the Mr. because we were busy navigating the streets to get out hehe.

Since it was already almost 3PM when we reached Makati, we decided to just avail of Dad’s merienda because of more choices (as always) for a cheaper price at Php 258.00 per pax.

We went home after because we got really exhausted because of the heat and crowd hahahaha.

The rest of the days were spent at home, except when I went to mass, to Din Tai Fung for takeout of xia long bao, and to the grocery for green mangoes!

ShangLanterns

↑Lanterns at Shangri-la Mall.

The end.

Have a great week ahead.

2018 Week 6: The BF’s Visit

February 5-11, 2018

For a change, it was the BF who came to Manila for a visit. I picked him up at the terminal last Monday at dawn. We spent the day in SM MOA for some window shopping, sunset watching, and meeting up with her nieces for dinner. We then proceeded to Shangri-la Mall so that I can introduce him to my high school BFF.

He had to go back home on Monday night though. It was a short visit but it was better than nothing at all.

RM (02-05-2018)

ManilaBaySunset (02-05-2018)

↑Manila Bay sunset. Sunrises and sunsets will always be magical to me.

The new director came on board last Wednesday, and so on Thursday, we went to the Glorietta site for several presentations. The bonus was that we had free dinner at TGIF hehe.

My teammates and I also went out to grab a drink at Whistlestop in BGC. On a Friday dawn. Because, why not? Hehehe. Nagsiksikan kaming pito sa kotse ni teammate. Nagkasya kami. Maluwag pa nga eh hahahaha.

StrawberryMargarita

↑Strawberry margarita. Yum yum!

CrispyPata

↑Pampabata. Another yum yum!

On Saturday, I accompanied my fried for the first maintenance checkup of her car. We spent 5 hours at the shop. Not the best customer experience. Lots of patience needed. But we commend the new employee who has been so accommodating and apologetic for the shortcomings of her teammates.

We watched Fifty Shades Freed in the afternoon and had dinner at Tramway only because we can’t decide what to eat hehe. The simplest is to go buffet so that you’ll have options and just pick those that you’re craving for at the moment. And Tramway because it’s friendly on the pocket at Php 258.00 per pax.

The end.

2018 Week 5: Pictureless

And here I am again, delayed in posting my weekly chika.

January 29 – February 4, 2018

Picture-less because I can’t find any captures in my phone this week. So maybe except for the daily grind at work, nothing special really happened hahaha.

We just learned that our team’s new director (our boss’ boss) will be reporting to work on February 7. His boss in the US will also be coming over. This means that we needed to prepare some presentation materials. Just the basic current project updates and the pipelines for 2018.

A new project manager joined the team starting February 5 so there were some orientation tasks for me (which until now I haven’t done yet because of schedule conflicts and priorities haha). He’ll be handling the big project which has a pipeline of activities in the next 2 years, or more.

It’s also performance evaluation season so it’s time to gather and review all documentations for 2017 to ensure that these are complete. This is the thing I dread the most. But for this year, I’ll ask the boss’ help since I did not handle the people the entire 2017 haha.

I had a severe case of LBM (sorry, TMI) last Wednesday so I had to go on sick leave. Severe because I had fever at dawn on Wednesday, which was so unusual. I suspect food poisoning. Not sure which food I ate triggered it. Since it started on Tuesday, it must be something that I have eaten on Monday or even Sunday. Ironic that my love for food also causes sickness sometimes hahahaha!

The weekend was spent doing domestic chores as always.

The end.
