2017 Week 17: Weekend Malling and Shopping

April 17-23, 2017

It was my brother’s birthday yesterday. Belated happy birthday kapatid!

Work has been generally peaceful, or so I thought. The storm came on Sunday, which did not allow us to sleep the whole night. Come Monday, bangag what else. KJ talaga. We can’t afford NOT to fix it because it affects Payroll. Soooo…..puyat kung puyat.

Pero nakakapraning because a friend’s ex- officemate collapsed last Friday in their office. She was brought to the hospital but she did not survive. The reason? They were so stressed the passed weeks because of an event. They were required to render extended work hours and report the next day on their usual work hours. Puyat + pagod + maybe other health issues = stressed much. And then here we were on Sunday….So guys and myself, wag abusuhin ang katawan kahit feeling natin kaya natin. Better be safe than sorry.

Anyway, weekend.

I went out on Saturday to apply for a PLDT myDSL subscription. I was thinking of not getting one anymore after my previous internet provider conked out due to obstruction in the area but I think I still need to have a connection at home. While I can use my phone, it’s still unstable and if work calls, I don’t want to rush to the office just to have stable connection. So there, hopefully, my application will be approved.

I met up with my friend because she wants to chill after learning what happened to her officemate. Actually, she came from the funeral parlor before we met and she wanted to shake off some bad vibes. We went to Chilli’s for some nachos, soup, salad and unlimited margarita.

On Sunday, I went to mass early and then proceeded to Baclaran after to get some goodies to be sold by my sister-in-law. I wasn’t able to buy briefs. Wala akong makitang maganda. Di ko na mahanap si nanay na pinagbilhan ko months ago.

I went to Megamall after to look for office blouses. Unfortunately, some of my blouses need to retire because while they are still usable, most of them are already showing wear and tear. Mga 3-5 years old na rin kasi mostly. Luckily, those that I found were on 20% discount.

I met with my friend again and we went to S&R this time. It was the last day of my membership yesterday and I wanted to buy the Ariel 3KG and Muesli before my card expires as I don’t have plans of renewing it this year hehehehe. Di ko kasi nasusulit naman at nakakatempt lang gumastos.

Then ayun nga, Sunday to sawa, work work work work work para sa ekonomiya. Pak!

Btw, sino excited na sa additional April 28 holiday?! Syempre isa ako don dahil more days to sepnd in Baguio again at magbutingting ng kung ano sa bahay.

Have a great week ahead.

Bow.

Clam chowder. This was sooo good. I’ll try to make one at home hehehehe. Masarap ang mga soup lalo na sa Baguio.

Salad – greens with chicken, potato strings and cheese.

Unlimited margarita. Cheers!

2016 Week 42 Recap: Shopping + Eating and a Movie

October 10-16, 2016

Yes, all those this week hehehe.

But living quarters muna. My MERALCO bill was lower than usual! I only used 98 KWH from September 13 –  October 12. Edel said in one of my previous posts that it looks like bills are lower if they are below 100 KWH. And it looks like it. I’m cracking my brain what’s different during that period from the rest of the months. We had a lot of overtime hours during that period and so I do extended works at home. Well, the only thing I can think of is that, while I spent more time at home, I wasn’t able to watch that much TV. And so, it must be the TV…we’ll see this month hehe. I want to know because I want a lower bill!!!!

Anyway, moving on.

Movie muna since nag-iisa. A friend and I watched Third Party on Sunday. I did not expect it to be that type of movie hehehe. But I got entertained, and again, another movie with a realistic ending.

Eating naman.

We had free Starbucks on Friday to celebrate the team’s successful implementation last August. Yes, super delayed since the team is just lazy to go out. Besides, we were so busy in the days following that major implementation. But it finally happened on Friday. Yey! Thanks, employer hehehe.

On Sunday, I asked a friend to try out Krazy Garlic. I heard about this restaurant years ago but I don’t frequent Greenbelt plus it was always full of diners. Luckily when we checked it out, there was no long waiting line so in we went.

Our orders. Both yummy! But it’s a little on the expensive side, I think. But then again, our tummies were happy hehehe.

krazygarlik1

40 Kloves Chicken. Php 595 but masarap at malasa naman hanggang loob.

krazygarlik2

El Callos Capitan. Equally yummy! I forgot the price! But it’s less than Php 500.

I had a major booboo though. Citibank has a current promo when you dine here pala!!! Spend a minimun of Php2,500 and maximum of Php5,000 and you get 40% off! If we added some more orders to reach the minimum spend, we would have take out viands sana! But I only saw the poster after eating, and I was only able to see Citi’s text about the promo, only after eating hehe. Next time, I’ll be more conscious of these things! Sayang kasi talaga.

Shopping

I did all sorts of shopping this week hihihi.

I bought a 6-set travel luggage organizer from a former officemate. Reasons? 1) I was looking for one for the longest time but I find everything expensive back then so I delayed my purchase thinking that these will be less expensive after a while hehehe and 2) I want to support friends with small businesses. I buy from them when their products fit my need.

6-set travel luggage organizer priced at Php300. Quality-wise, this is better than what I’ve seen at Daiso for the same price. My friend also said that this is much better than what she saw in Landmark.

We went to MOA on Sunday to pick up the 2017 BDJ planners. I was a little disappointed because I ordered a customized one (with name printed on it, and had to pay Php100 for this). However, when we got to the claiming area, my and my friend’s names weren’t printed. They had an email on October 13 asking for confirmation because they changed the position of the name to be printed. I gave my confirmation before their set deadline but our names were still not printed. While they were able to do it during the event, the printing wasn’t polished because of course it was done in a rush. It doesn’t look like it’s worth Php 100. My niece’s planner’s name was better. The design she chose did not require name position change so hers was printed in advance. Anyway, I just really wanted to try the one with names so I availed of it. But maybe I’ll not do it for the 2018 planner.

2017bdjplanner

I’m not sure if it’s noticeable here but my niece’s name was printed nicely than mine. But still happy to finally have them hehe.

Anyway, I’m still happy I now have my 2017 planner hehehe. I still love the kikay and colorful design. It’s encouraging to write on it.

And since we were in MOA, we did some window shopping in some of the shops. I saw a red Kipling bag and I want one! But still too expensive hehehehe. And I just bought my Longchamp bag a few months ago, so no, not yet.

I asked a friend to look for cheese boki if she happens to be at Cash & Carry. I learned about this from Ms. Diane’s blog maybe a year ago and I have been looking for it since then to no avail. I even always check out all 7-11 stores that I pass by hehehe. So, last weekend, my friend was able to buy not cheese boki but cheese ramen. Kerin na rin. Still with cheese. I have yet to try it.

cheeseramen

Php165.90 at Cash & Carry Makati.

And the highlight of my shopping escapade, which really really really made me giddy and happy and almost jumping while showing it to my teammates hehehehe. I think I already mentioned it here a few times that I want the Adidas Superstar. I was finally able to buy an Adidas Superstar!!! OMG moment talaga when I chanced upon it last Friday at Robinson’s Magnolia. I know it was meant to be since I also checked out Adidas Gateway few hours prior hehehe. Also, for some reason, I was itching to visit that branch so I excused myself after our Starbucks session and asked to be left behind for a while. And the sales staff informed me that it was their last pair in my size for 2016. New stocks will be delivered in 2017 already. Haaayyy, so happy and my teammates were happy for me too because come to think of it, I’m also looking for this pair for a year now!  🙂  😀  😆

myadidassuperstar

Hi! I’m Adidas superstar. My new owner was supposed to wear me today but she decided against it because it was raining and she didn’t want me to get dirty right away 😛 😀 😆

I went to mass at Greenbelt. Today’s gospel was about praying persistently. As per the priest’s explanation, we need to pray persistently because this is the food for our soul. When we do this, we won’t become weak when we encounter trials. Instead, we will still be strong to face these trials because our prayers during the times we don’t have these trials made us stronger. Thank you, Father for that explanation. And thank you, dear God, for your endless blessings.

Have great week ahead. Cheers!

2016 Week 41 Recap: On Offset

October 3-9, 2016

Work

I only went to work on Wednesday to Friday this week. I was on offset last Monday and Tuesday from a much needed break from all the stress of the past 3 months.

When I got back last Wednesday, thank God that there were few items to check while I was away. And these were covered by my teammate who I heavily rely on on days that I am away. Why? Because he’s quick to understand things, a fast worker and knows that work is work and just does what needs to be done.

We also had a call about another project which I’ll be involved in. I am excited about this even though it’s tricky since I am still in the process of striking a balance between the projects I’m now handling. But matapos lang yung enhancements nung system na nagpasakit ng ulo ko the past 2 months, I’m good.

For the non-work stuff.

10.03.2016

I was still in Baguio this day!

I spent this day with the BF. Although it was his day off, he had things to do in the morning so we just met at noon and spent the time together until it was time for me to go back to Manila.

  • Lunch at the nearby karinderya
  • Visited Home Outlet to check out what they have for a comfort room. My room’s CR is not yet done until now but it’s something I want to finish by end of this year or at least early next year. I want the Toto brand, similar to Japan’s toilet bowls, but they don’t have it. I’m not even sure if that’s available in the Philippines hehehe. But I want that. There’s a new model of HCG where the bidet is already int the toilet bowl but it’s expensive plus it’s not what I want hehehe. I will visit other Home depots in the coming days. Hopefully I’ll find one. I don’t even know if that piece with “controls” is part of the toilet or it’s a separate accessory. Need to research.
  • Dropped by Japan Surplus (because it was raining hehe) to just look around. I saw microwavable clear glasses which I think are a steal but did not buy it.
  • Went to town for what else, more food!!! And 2 bottles of San Mig light. Ako ang nagyayang mag-inom just to release stress. Inom na inom na kasi ako matagal na 😛 . Mid-afternoon pa lang yun, san ka pa hehehe. We went to Pizza Volante, the same place where we had our first date. Incidentally, we occupied the same seats. Syempre na tatandaan ko pa ‘no  😛  😀 . Bundat na bundat kami after nito so kailangan maglakad-lakad.
  • Went around some of the ukay shops to look around. Did not find any good deal. Besides, I wasn’t really looking for something.
  • Went to SM Department store. He was looking for white shirts so we were mostly in the men’s section. Keri naman. Di naman awkward hahaha.
  • Went to Ace Hardware to of course look for more toilet bowls hehehehe.
  • Went to SM Appliance to check out their gas ranges.
  • Went to some of the shoe stores to look for my Adidas Superstar. Kay ilap ilap nitong hanapin.
  • At around 8PM, we walked to Victory Liner terminal because I was going back to Manila that night. Huhu. In fairness to him, sinamahan naman nya ako until makabili ako ng ticket at makasakay kahit antok na antok na sya.
rmadventures

Spending quality time together over a few bottles of beer :p. See those frozen glasses? Pareho kaming napa-wow hahaha. Yes, first time namin makakita ng ganon :p.

10.04.2016

I was still on offset this day so I used most of this day to catch up with my backlog on the 30 day blog challenge.

I also spent some time filling out the Sunlife forms for automatic deductions of a specific amount for my investments from my BDO account. I like this setup better because it forces me to really set aside something monthly. Automation all the way.

Since tamad din akong magluto, I had food deliverd from Kenny Roger’s. I tried their no fry fried chicken. Masarap sya! Good alternative if sawa ka na sa roasted chicken nila hehe.

Weekend

On Saturday, I met up with my friend because I wanted to go with her to see the units for rent at Cityland Grand Central Shaw. She’s looking for a new place to move to that’s nearer her and her cousin’s work place and near an MRT station for easier commutes.

We went to S&R Shaw after for lunch and to check out if there are any good deals left after their sale last weekend.

Well, well well, I was able to buy a 900g Nutella for only Php324.95. Grabe ang mura! Dati more than 500 ata yung 700g nito. Di naman ako naghoard. Bumili ako ng isa lang hehehehe.

I also bought Market O’s real cheese chips. Syempre nakuha na naman ako sa chips. At nakain ko na sya. Lasang cheese chips naman. Pero I think it’s expensive at Php99 for only a small pack. It says 19.5 cheese, so di naman purong cheese talaga. May halong potato pa rin.

Eto sya. Bastay anything cheese, yummy for me hehehe.

Eto sya. Basta anything cheese, yummy for me hehehe.

I also pre-ordered 2017 BDJ planners for my friend and niece yesterday night. It’s 20% discount if you pre-order but you have to claim it at the BDJ fair on October 16. Since my friend and I are planning to go, might as well order now. It includes customization so we have our names in our planners. Can’t wait for this. I’ve been buying their planners since 2013 kahit hindi ko namna religiously nasusulatan lahat. At medyo mahal sya sa totoo lang, BUT way cheaper than the coffee shop planners naman. Pero masaya pa rin kasi if you have written accounts of your appointments eh. So ayun, I still buy hehehe.

On Sunday, I just went out for mass in the morning. I also bought some sticky rice pudding and cassava cake from one of the vendors at the church ground.

Takeaway from the mass: may awa ang Diyos lagi at hinding-hindi tayo pababayaan. Thank you for this reminder, Father.

nutella

Sticky rice pudding and nutella for brunch! Samahan mo pa ng kape. Solved na solved ang tyan hehehe.

Took a nap in the afternoon and readjusted my budget a little to accommodate my Sunlife monthly deductions.

And lastly, do this blog post before calling it a night.

And so, goodnight everyone. Have a great week ahead.

2016 Week 29 Recap: Back to the Real World

July 11-17, 2016

keepcalmdeployWork

I am so excited! We started deploying some of the components this week. While it will be busy until we complete everything and ensure that there will be no more issues, I am so happy to finally see this project in its completion stage. Hopefully, there will only be few issues. This implementation will affect around 15K PH employees so it’s a little intimidating but I know we’ve all done our best to minimize whatever risks there are. I am confident that all issues will be addressed as quickly as we can. Kaka-excite talaga! 🙂

Travel

I have started posting my Japan stories. I have most of the narratives completed, as I started writing all about it at the airport while waiting for my friend to refund her ICOCA card (OSAKA IC card). However, I wanted to post with pictures in it and it’s taking me longer to sort out/select the pictures hehehehe. Anyway, I’ll get there. Matatapos ko rin i-post lahat.

Speaking of travel, another friend is requesting for travel to a beautiful beach daw. Stressed si ateng. Gusto mag-out of town. Hopefully, we can find a reasonably priced place that’s near Manila.

Savings and Investments

I’m thankful that the Japan trip is over. While it’s exciting to always travel, I would like to pause for a while. I’d like to focus on building up my savings. I’d like to reach my first million in cash and investments, excluding real estate :). Opo, sa tanda kong ito, wala pa akong isang milyon in cash. Napunta lahat sa ibang bagay pero hindi naman lahat nilustay.

Weekend

I missed malling so I met with my friend yesterday for dinner and to hand her the Japan goodies for her. We met in Glorietta. We went to SM Makati after. I saw that Loreal still has their free hair color application when you buy their hair color. I wanted to avail of it so earlier today, I went back. Unfortunately, I have my hair rebonded last May and they have strict rules that they won’t color if rebond session is less than 3 months. So better be safe than sorry hehe. I’ll just go back in August. So another malling session for us. She met up with me again because she’s supposed to see my new hair color pero dahil di natuloy, ikot ikot na lang hehehe.

Ahhh, I was also looking for a blouse that I can pair with the skirt I bought around 2 months ago. I am attending a wedding next week and the theme is rock and roll, so casual ang peg. However, medyo kupas na ang mga blouses na meron ako na pwedeng i-terno don sa skirt so I decided to look around. Nakahanap naman ako, and more hehehehe. I was able to buy a dress na parang sinukat lang para sa akin. Di ko na pinakawalan. Bihira kasing mangyari yun sa laki kong ‘to. Ok rin sya with Chucks so ito na lang isusuot ko sa wedding hehehe. Hay pero utang na loob Mylene, tama na ang gastos. Wala ka nang kailangan :p.

Ok, that’s it for now. Good night and may you all have a great week ahead :).

2016 Week 23 Recap: Happy Birthday, Kiddos!

May 30 – June 5, 2016

Work

All of us are really just trying complete everything before the big launch. Aside from the final stages of testing, we still have the reports to finalize. Deployment planning meetings are more frequent nowadays too. I just can’t wait for this to be completed. Maiiyak siguro ako pag natapos na ito hahaha!

Travel

I received a call from Discovery Tour last Monday, informing me that my NSO-issued birth certificate is not readable enough so they were requesting me to submit even a certified true copy from my local registry. Good thing that I still have extra copies of the one my father requested for me more than a decade ago (as in January 2001). I asked if that was ok and they said yes so I sent it over last Wednesday. I did not receive any other calls so I’m assuming that the copy I sent would work. Still crossing my fingers that our visas will be approved.

Up next, my friend and I would need to finalize our itinerary so that we can start searching for the most economical train tickets to buy. My boss mentioned before about JR pass and that might work for us depending on our itinerary. Research, research, research! Am I excited? Mixed emotions, to be honest hehehe. But I’m sure I’ll enjoy this trip no matter what.

Weekend

Our former colleague’s kids turns 1 and 3 this June and so they had a combined birthday party, which a friend and I attended on Saturday, just so we have something to do on a weekend hahaha! Plus, the event was near our apartments so dyahe namang mag-no pa di ba? My friend and I met first at Shang to buy gifts. Thanks to an ongoing sale at Osh Kosh, we were able to buy cute dresses for 50% off and 30% off. We decided on “group gift” so we just split the total amount. Hay buti na lang. Medyo nakatipid ako don, pero yung naitipid ko, ipinanood namin ng sine after the children’s party hehehe.

Realizations during the party:

  • We also need to be bibo as parents because we need to help our children during games hahaha
  • Hats off to the dads who were game to participate in one of the games. Pinasayaw pa sila nung host at wala lang, parang normal na lang sa kanila hehehe. Aliw.
  • Parang gusto ko na rin ng anak. Nuninuninuninu! :p

And speaking of children’s party, may isa pa akong pupuntahan sa July naman hehehe.

We went back to Shang at around 6:30 PM to watch The Nice Guys. It’s a comedy film and it did not fail to make us laugh. Also, I have a lot of “anong katangahan yan?!!!” moments hehehe. We went home after the movies.

I’m trying to spend as much time as I can with this friend because by God’s grace, she may be leaving for the US later this year. I’m praying that her and her fiance’s plans and application be granted. She deserves it. But before that, I hope we can also go back to Caramoan. We went there in 2012 and it was just so beautiful and untouched that we greatly enjoyed everything about the place despite being scammed by the promo we got from one of the groupon sites. Can’t remember anymore which site was that. Sana matuloy.

I went to mass on Sunday and spent some time at the mall looking for doll shoes. My problem however is that, I can’t wear super flat shoes because it triggers my plantar fasciitis, something that I don’t want to have again because, ouch ouch ouch! It was an unfruitful search so I just treated myself to beef stew and pecan pie for lunch at Almond Marina. I dropped by Watson’s later for some toiletries. Oh, I also was able to buy Treseme conditioner for a 30% discount! From Php 399 to Php 289! Pwede naman palang ganon kababa, bakit ba nila tinaasan presyo nito. Ang ganda pa naman sana. I’m thinking of buying more hehehe. Anyway, went home after that and spent the rest of the day watching TV while checking things online.

Another story…while on our way to Shang, we passed by a couple on the road. The girl was foreigner, the guy looks Pinoy. It looks like they were about to part ways and the guy was being sweet but looks like the girl was not happy as she was searching for something in her bag. I don’t know why but I have a bad feeling that the guy may just be using the girl. I seriously hope I am wrong though.

Anyway, I hope you all had a great week. Cheers to another great week ahead.

2016 Week 22 Recap: Japan Japan!

May 23-29, 2016

Travel

My friend and I are pushing through with our Japan travel in July. I can’t believe July is just around the corner. Time flies at over-speeding pace hehe. Anyway, I learned that all Japan visa applications can only be processed through accredited travel agencies. We coursed ours through Discover Tour, the same agency my friend used when they went to Mt. Fuji in 2015. Processing fee per person is Php 800.00 plus DHL’s delivery charge of Php 300.00 per package but this we still have to confirm because the change may have changed. Crossing our fingers for our visa’s approval hehe. We’ll know after 7 days.

Next up for us will be to finalize our itinerary and buy tickets in advance as applicable.

Weekend

I missed Makati so I asked my friend to accompany me roam around it on Saturday. I was able to buy a skirt at Landmark bazaar for less than Php 200.00 hehehe. I’m not really into dresses and skirts but I’m keeping some pieces for those times I need to. We also enjoyed Dad’s merienda. Lamon pa more hahaha.

On Sunday, it was just supposed to be mass and window shopping for shoes for me but my other friend requested if we can go out. She needs distraction since her fiance just went back to the US on Sunday morning and she didn’t want to be alone and just cry all day hehehe. So out we met at Shang for lunch, nail spa and movie.

We ate at Lombardi’s, an Italian restaurant the the East wing of Shang. It was both our first time and we both agreed that everything was good. We feasted on pizza, pasta and cherry walnut cheesecake. Haayyy….the cheesecake was so yummy! It’s now my new favorite hehehe. Expensive though hehehe. But I think everything was worth what we paid for.

We went to Nail Spa, the only nail salon in Shang, after lunch for a much needed TLC for our hands and feet.

We also watched Money Monster after. I did not know what the movie was all about prior buying our tickets but it was just the only movie we both wanted to take a chance on since it has George Clooney and Julia Roberts in it haha. But surprisingly, I enjoyed it because of the financial market component.

Went home after and spent the rest of the evening watching Sunday shows in ABS-CBN. Vizco’s, where I had breakfast on my birthday last March, and some other eateries in Baguio were featured in Rated K! A friend and I are now planning to try those hahaha. The question is, when? We’ll see about that.

TOTGA

My TOTGA (the one that got away) to this date was a dress I saw and liked in December, but did not buy because it was expensive and was not what I needed. I saw it again in April, but still hesitant in buying it because it was still not discounted. Now, I consider it my TOTGA as of Saturday because I might be attending a wedding in July and that dress would have been perfect for the occasion haaayy. So good luck with the dress hunting again hehehe,

Anyway, I hope you all had a great week. Cheers to another great week ahead.

2016 Week 21 Recap: Work Updates + Meeting Mr. Law

May 16-22, 2016

Work

We have been doing this one project for the longest time and I really really really want it out of my plate na. I want it deployed in July. Kaya kahit mahirap na, pinipilit ko na lang talagang tapusin lahat ng kailangan tapusin so that our team won’t be the cause of all delays. It’s always a roller coaster ride for this project. Everyone’s becoming restless (and more short-tempered) while they catch up with all their deliverables. There should be zero room for errors because of the big scope of the project plus the amount of data to migrate. One small mistake will surely impact the rest of the project’s components. Therefore, the deployment should be well planned, well thougt of and all resources MUST be aligned at all times. In short, bawal nganga hehehe. Basta gusto ko na lang madeploy ito. Siguro maiiyak ako after ng deployment. Hehehe.

Weekend

My friend’s American boyfriend was in town for the first time, to visit her. She invited us to have lunch with them last Sunday, just few hours upon his arrival hehe. He’s staying here for a week so their schedule is jampacked. I feel that he is a good man. I hope everything will turn out well for him and my friend. My friend deserves only the best.

After lunch, another friend and I went to S&R Shaw to check out the items on sale. We were able to buy Tresemme shampoo and conditioner. Hopefully, it will be good to our hair because it is our first time to use the Split Repair variant. It’s not that our hairs have split ends. We just love the smell of this variant among the items on sale hehehe.

Went home after to just rest aka watch the Sunday shows. It’s been a while since I last watched TV that long hahaha.

Late post yet again.

2016 Week 8 Recap: Nieces, Malls, Freebies

February 15-21, 2016

Work

So the vendor did not show up again as committed. Oh well, nothing else to do but chase them. Maybe they are also waiting for the downpayment. So I processed that in the hope that they will work faster once they receive it.

Niece Love

Twice this week, my niece called (one so early in the morning) to ask me when I’ll be coming home. I told her it might be during the Holy Week. Yay! Namimiss ako ng bulilit hahaha. Her older sister also texted one time para mangamusta lang. Yey! Nagtext ang dalaginding! Speaking of, the older sister will be graduating this March or April. Hindi na mapigilan ang pagdadalaga nya huhuhu. Don’t grow up too fast, bebe. Gusto ko pa rin clingy ka sa akin. Pero wait, di na ba uso ang Kinder graduation ngayon? Kasi wala daw graduation si bunging bulilit.

Living Quarters

In an effort to avoid buying and/or over-buying stuff I already have but forgotten about it, I started listing down every item in my clothes cabinet hahaha. The goal was to eliminate everything that I don’t use/need anymore. I also made a number as to how many of each item I should have to be considered “enough” based on my usual routine and activities. I was tested right away when a friend and I visited the mall on Saturday. Suffice to say that it helps when you quantify everything because it’s easier to turn away from stuff that you know you already have more than enough and those that you still lack hehehe. I’m not yet done but I’ll continue sorting and tallying for the rest next week.

A friend has also been decluttering lately and she gave me her washing machine because since her helper left years ago, she just opted to have her laundry washed in a laundry shop. So, I tested it this afternoon. Medyo nag-inarte nung una pero nakuha naman sa gentle kalampag hehe. Or ako lang ang di marunong gumamit? Hahaha. It’s the automatic type where you set everything and let it do its work. But since the nozzle is not yet compatible with my faucet, I still had to manually load water.

The pechay is thriving, although 2 seedlings did not make it huhu. Hope the rest will survive.

Weekend

It was mall time on Saturday with a friend. It was more of window shopping but I scored an office pant that was on sale and that fits me so I bought it anyway. Now, I don’t need to buy anymore pants unless one gives way and would need a replacement. After attending the evening mass today, I also went to another mall for some errands.

One last about shopping hahaha…I tried a dress last December which I really really liked but I did not buy it because it was expensive plus I cannot think of an event where I can wear it that time. But now, I’m looking for one. Unfortunately, I can’t find the dress anymore. I saw the other colors but not the one I like huhu. I don’t wear dresses regularly. Di ako nasanay kaya ilang ako haha. In the past years, I wear only once a year, that is, if I attend our company’s year end party, or if I attend a friend’s wedding. We wore uniforms in high school but that’s different. I have attempted to dress in the past but I always failed hahaha. This year, I’m giving it another try. Let’s see.

I have just watched Magic Mike XXL to cap the weekend and before writing this blog entry.

I hope you all had a great week. Cheers to another great week ahead. Goodnight for now.
